I've just finished replaying this game for like the 4th time, and all I can say is that this is one of the best games ever created.

The music is the best aspect of the game, the soundtrack is just pure genious.

Level designs are great and graphics are still nice to see.

Overall 2nd best game for the SNES just behind Zelda ALttP.

 

Does anyone here love this game?

It is a dam fine game. I though it was better than the third one but not quite as good as the first.

I agree. I always preferred 2 over 1 and wasn't a big fan of 3 at all.

You didn't!? ah man. I agree with everyone, I liked the first more than the second^^ but the second way more than the third. it's definitely a game to pick up.

Edit: oh yeah, and if you haven't, play Earthbound, play that and tell me if DKC 2 and Lttp are still your favorite two games^^; (they might be still, but man, that game was so awesome)

I was being sarcastic xD cause he wrote "Donkey Kong Kong Country", I owned DKC but there was a problem with the internal battery of the game, which meant it couldnt save my progress, so any time I wanted to finish the game I had to play for a long time.
Still I consider DKC2 the best in the series by far, with DKC3 coming second.

It's been so long since i've played it that i can't remember it very clearly but i remember really liking it at the time and i have to agree with you about the soundtrack.

Yea, the soundtrack is really among the best ones. Theres even some songs in Brawl.

I fully agree that this is a game with the most awesome soundtrack and gameplay.
The " bramble scramble " song is what I cosider the best soundtrack of any console, in any year since the start of video game industry.
