Any update on this yet? By my math, the new issue must be released sometime in the next week (if it hasn't already), but i don't subscribe.

I just got my Nintendo Power and it is Castlevania for the DS. There was nothing special about the moon. They said there was a clue in the moon to deceive everyone.

I have the same issue. Been looking at it for quite some time now and have come to the conclusion that it is Kid Icarus and Castlevania related. Time will tell what the clues may hold. Only a couple more days to find out (I have a NP subscription).
