Forums - General - UK fuel @ £5($9.93) a gallon!!

Shit son! How long can the fuel prices keep rising? This sucks, especially with Shell & BP having combined last 1/4 profits of £7bln.

Did you read the Independant today? The main story on the front page was concerning this.

I don't drive and even I get pissed off with it, the UK has the worst prices for petrol.

holy shit ?! damn here in georgia I pay 3.57 a gallon thats the crappiest grade too $38 to fill up my 14gallon honda .... WoW thats nuts invest in a bike I guess 0_O

That is per imperial gallon. So its actually 9.93$ per 1.2 US gallons or 7.94$ per US gallon. I prefer saying as 2.18$ per liter.

It is at 1.30$ per liter here. When I first was learning to drive it was between .30 and .50$ per liter because of a price war in my region. This was only 11 years ago.

Well, prices like that will inevitably force people to better think the way they use energy in any form.

I'm American so I don't know this for sure but isn't most of continental Europe more expensive than the UK when it comes to petrol?
