I played it a bit last night on a friends xbox360. For some reason we couldn't get online, overloaded maybe? Either way it was still cool to check out. The new police system (radius) is a huge improvement, I have been hoping they'd do that since GTAIII. I haven't played it enough to really judge it. I don't think it deserves the 10/10, but close to it. Sometimes the graphics were like wow that looks great, while other times I was slightly disappointed. I didn't notice any pop-in, but then again I wasn't looking for it. Its still very impressive and as soon as I get a PS3 Ill be playing it a lot.

As the PS3 version of GTAIV is not HD, it need not be discussed in this thread.

You're right. GTA IV is not sitting in my 360 right now and I didn't play it last night.

Sad.


 Well it would not be the first time a mod says a game is not good when he didn't played it yet...Ha there are even mods who review a game when they only saw a friend playing it for a half hour....

Well, that's not the case. GTA IV is a very good game but IMO, it brings far too little innovation to the table to ever be considered the best game ever. Really, the cellphone is the only real change that made me sit up and notice it. Everything else seems to be a next-gen polishing of the GTA III formula with a few WRPG elements thrown in for good measure. It's an excellent game but nothing more.
