I want it on the Wii plain and simple

That's the game that I would buy a PS3/360 for. Resident Evil > GTA

Well, if it comes out for PC I'll probably buy it (if I can run it). I loved TGF:BH and if this is even better, it will be a blast. If it's better than SMG, Melee, OoT, and my other beloved ones, I'll buy it twice :P

Do not care, do not want to play GTA IV, not interested in those type of games at all.

I doubt too many. "Most" Wii owners are interested in completely different types of games than ps3/360 owners. Grand Theft Auto doesn't happen to be one that most are interested in or they would have bought one of the HD consoles. I could see more Wii owners being interested in something like Little Big Planet than Grand Theft Auto 4.

This will be the top selling game of the year. (COD4 will be second). Gears2 could be 3rd if it is released in time and have enough weeks before Christmas to do so.

Before I received my 360, as a proud Wii owner I just wanted for 3rd Parties to make good games designed with the Wii in mind and not try and compete with the power of the 360 or PS3. Rockstar almost made a good effort with Manhunt 2 (I know many people will completely disagree with me here). If they had cleaned up the game and took out all of the buggyness it would have been an astounding game. My roommate and I played the hell out of it and had a great time. Unfortunately the game must have had a low budget and they left in more bugs than a usual Rockstar game.

If I still only had a Wii I would still feel the same I would not be asking for the Graphics of a GTA4 or MGS4 or RE5, because I knew that I would not be getting that when I bought the Wii. I would be asking for PS2+ Graphics (Which although I enjoy the nextgen graphics I am still satisfied with the PS2) with invoative, emotion inducing games built to use the specialty of the Wii.

I said emotion inducing because I am not solely looking for 'fun' games, I also enjoy intense games (Silent Hill), frustrating games (Super C - I have died so many times on that first level and still can't get enough), etc.

Rockstar has tried a few times, but as far as I have seen they haven't put a real budget behind trying to make a blockbuster Wii game yet.

I think if 3rd parties try they can find great success in the Wii. No they will not get the whole user base, though it looks like Boom Blox will try to, but the Wii base will be so large that if they put some marketing behind a quality product it will sell.

over hyped game with major bugs and glitches ,my honest opinion.
if i wanted to get it.. i can always wait for the best version.. the pc version ;)
still, i really didnt have much interest in over hyped games

I couldn't justify dishing out 300+ in cash to buy another console in order to play a game that frankly doesn't wet my apetitie. I could do without, afterall ignorance is bliss.

I have a PS2 and an Xbox1 and never bothered to play the other ones to any great length, although I do agree they're great games. I just don't really like them that much.
I would like to see the GTA games make it to the Wii though, even if its just a slightly pumped up version of the PS2 game engine.
