i think Wii Fit will keep selling for a loooong time, where GTA IV will be selling some lovely millions for 2 months........ as all gamers will go to buy it as long as it comes out....

I think it's an interesting competition, Mario Kart + Wii Fit vs GTAIV. I'm sorry to say, however, that I think the Mario Kart/Wii Fit combo is going to outsell GTAIV in the long term quite handily.

unfortunately, Leo-j isn't around any more for me to take on his prediction, but it will be an interesting one to say the least.

Looking at the charts and the history of Mario Kart, I think those two could certainly outperform GTA IV.

Wii Fit alone will sell more than both versions of GTA4 combined.

Wii fit sold 650k at EU launch, GTA sold 605k on launch day in the UK alone!

To me that is conclusive enough that GTA IV will outsell both those games

Why bringing this topic again? It doesnt matter what sells more at launch. The more important was the lifetime sell of each game. Wii fit in Japan sells 30,000-40,000 each week without changing its price since its launch in January(if thats the month). Thats show you something about Wii fit's sales...

And Ninendo already prove that their software sells with the likes of SSBB, Zelda, Mario Kart Wii and Metroid Prime 3 one game will never change that. It doesnt matter if GTA sells 20-30 million during this generation, it never changes the fact that there are more Wii games that have strong legs than HD console games.

People seem to be forgetting to mention that amazon is in no way able to tell us what is outselling what as it counts for a tiny amount of total retail dollars
