Their is a gamestore at my corner and I can see the people waiting outside from here..A wild guess 50-100 people are in the line 10 minutes before launch.

Anybody know the averages for how many the stores have(1st shippment)?

Same as anyone that turns up at midnight to get a game/console thats available in huge numbers next morning and has probably already been pre-ordered anyway.

It's not that sad at all. I did the Halo 3 midnight launch and it was a lot of fun. People were having a good time and then we all went home and played the game online until 2 or 3 in the morning. It was amazing how many people were online when I got back home. The game already had 80,000 people playing.

Its raining and pretty cold in NewYork so i dont think i'll be going.

But no, I'm not going to any midnight launch anytime soon (GTA IV's is alreay happening here btw).

I would be going but the ebgames where i bought mine opens at 8am, its in a mall. But i'll be at the store shortly after it opens.

well i went to the midnight launch in N.Z about 11 hours ago.

Got my copy of the game. But still havent played it yet.

The launch was pretty awsome (first time ive been to a midnight launch).
