based on official UK charts and text from charttrack it should be arround 250k, just for the UK. Fastest selling Wii Title (and Nintendo Title) ever. 6th fastet UK debut ever (only bettered by GTA, Halo and Gran Turismo titles).

Can I also just point out that Woolworths were also selling some like 9 copies a second on launch day as well, or some other crazy assed number.

The UK sales are normally around 1/3 of total sales of Europe so that means Wii fit could of sold 600K+ in 2 days for the whole of Europe.

Wow they are pretty off base with their WiiFit japan number... It is more like 2 million + shipped, about 1.95 sold, after this week.



End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Sorry if you had the intention that I meant that 21.6K was bad, I just said it so people wouldn't think it was 100K or so (people always seem to think there are several times more seconds pr day, month or year than there actually are.)

The legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess sold 1 copy every 12 seconds during the entire year of 2007.

Most people wouldn't think it was that much.

Super Smash Brothers Brawl sold more than 9 copies every second for launch in NA only.
