Finished Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Got hung up on it a few times and went to play other stuff, and picked it back up after the Switch 2 update was released. This series, as I play through it, looks to me like more and more of a true Xenogears successor, with the proper budget and publisher support they didn't have for Xenogears or Xenosaga. It's also immensely satisfying to be able to crush the level 80 super monsters you were forced to run or hide from in the early game.

On the other hand, fuck Tiger! Tiger!. It's a fun game the first couple of times, not so much after you've had to grind through it to get the high-end upgrades for Poppi.

I like the Metroidvania design of Batman Arkham Aslyum. In that aspect it's one of the better examples of it in 3D. Problem is I hate this style of combat. I prefer stylish action where I am in full control not slow motion full animation to finish. The bosses are terrible. 7th gen loved gimmick final bosses with ads. I just stopped playing. I hate fights like that. It's a waste of time to me. The game was getting on my nerves for some time. Not out of any frustration of difficulty. Just annoying designed sequences. I deleted it and will not be playing City.
