I never used Bluesky, it always just seemed like Twitter for people who can't tolerate any difference of opinion and need everything to be an echo chamber of their own beliefs.

So the same thing as Truth Social?

Never used Truth Social, but I imagine that would be even more of an echo chamber as an overt alt-right platform from the get go.

Since the elites are more concerned with getting this show up and running than protecting us from its harms, AI is going to quickly run amok and take over everything. And when that happens, you and I, none of us will know what is real and what isn't. You literally won't be able to open your Instrgram and be able to tell what is being posted by a person or a computer. And when that happens, your interest will quickly fade, and you'll start just not going on there anymore. And then... well... who knows. Maybe a second human renaissance? I have no clue. But I fully believe most of us will check out, and the internet, at least with regards to social media and human communication, will die off.

I'm not sure what the reaction to permanent epistemic collapse would be, but I wouldn't bet on people leaving the internet.

I can see some probably retreating to familiar content makers and BlueSky/Truth Social-like circles, but once agentic AI really gets going, most of the internet probably won't be for us anymore, in any case.
