Well, no competition means Sony can do whatever. It does not bother me though, I simply won't buy one; simples.

Can someone confirm if this is true? It actually might not be, i cant find more information on it, and the official Sony account on X also doesnt have anything on this. Might have posted too soon

At least not yet.  A few months ago there were rumors that Sony was going to raise the price of PS+ and not touch the price of the console, but than the console went up.

Did you cut off the tweet author so we can't check the source on that ps+? Lol.

Cause $36/month for PS+ Premium sounds completely implausible.

It's well in line with the others, but doubling the prices in general sounds entirely implausible.

Ridiculous - especially PS5Pro price @ $900, since equivalent (actually somewhat better) PC is just slightly above $1000.

What if next year games cost $89.99

Few months ago, RAM cost a lot less than it does now. Not excusing it but they aren't immune to that rise either. There is only so much absorbing the cost they can do when RAM makers are no longer prioritising consumer products.

Hmm, pie.

I bought my PS5 last year April right before the first increase and thank god I did because this is depressing.
