WHO: 13 hospitals damaged and 6 closed since Israel is bombing the Lebanon. They also face a severe shortage on medical supplies now. Next will be a shortage on food and water I guess.
But who cares, right? As long as Israel is bombing humans it's fine. And the only country speaking against it (Spain) just got thrown out of the "Gaza mission after war" by Israel. Because in the end Israel doesn't care about any diplomatic agreement. Their diplomacy is "bow down to us" |
Yep and looking at all the threats Trump is issuing even before the talks have started, Iran is right not to call this a ceasefire. It's a temporary pause for whatever stupid plan Trump has next, probably with the 50K soldiers he moved towards Iran.
And Pakistan better be on the look out for Mossad assassination attempts.
Trump says Iranians "have no cards" ahead of negotiations
“The Iranians don’t seem to realize they have no cards, other than a short term extortion of the World by using International Waterways,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “The only reason they are alive today is to negotiate!”
Trump warns Iran that US assault will intensify if deal not reached
President Donald Trump warned Iran that if a peace deal isn’t reached, the United States will resume its military action with even more intensity, saying, “We have a reset going.”
“We’re loading up the ships with the best ammunition, the best weapons ever made — even better than what we did previously and we blew them apart,” Trump told the New York Post in a Friday phone interview, going on to say the US would be “using them very effectively” if there’s no deal.
As Vice President JD Vance heads to Pakistan to lead talks with the Iranians, Trump said the next 24 hours would reveal whether the talks will be successful. “We’re going to find out in about 24 hours. We’re going to know soon,” Trump said.
Ceasefire talks can only begin after two conditions are met, senior Iranian official says
Negotiations with the United States cannot begin until Washington meets two key conditions, according to Iran’s parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, who some Iranian outlets say is expected to lead Tehran’s delegation during weekend talks in Pakistan.
In a post on X, Ghalibaf said a ceasefire in Lebanon and the release of Iran’s blocked assets must be fulfilled before negotiations can begin.
Two of the measures mutually agreed upon between the parties have yet to be implemented: a ceasefire in Lebanon and the release of Iran’s blocked assets prior to the commencement of negotiations. These two matters must be fulfilled before negotiations begin.”
And the Lebanon ceasefire is very much on the backburner
Ambassadors from Israel, Lebanon and US will hold preparatory talks today
Ambassadors from Israel, Lebanon and the US will hold a first round of preparatory talks in Washington, DC, today to set the table for future negotiations between Israel and Lebanon, an Israeli official and source familiar with the talks said.
The first round of discussions will be aimed at reaching an agreement on the conditions and agenda for direct negotiations between Israel and Lebanon, which Israel has said would be aimed at disarming Hezbollah and establishing “peaceful relations” between the two countries.
Lebanon says death toll from Israel’s Wednesday attacks at 357
Lebanon’s Health Ministry has released an updated death toll from Israel’s Wednesday attacks, which were the fiercest in years, saying the figure has now reached 357.
“This figure remains non-final due to ongoing rubble removal operations and the presence of a very large number of remains, which require time to complete DNA testing and confirm the identities of the victims,” reported Lebanon’s National News Agency, citing the Health Ministry.
These casualties bring the total number of people killed since Israel intensified attacks on Lebanon on March 2 to 1,953, with 6,303 injured, according to the ministry.
Temporary? This is only the beginning
Inflation in US surges as the continued fallout from war felt globally
US inflation surged to a two-year high in March as the war in Iran sent energy prices sharply higher. The Consumer Price Index, which measures what Americans pay for everyday goods and services, rose 3.3% year-on-year, up from 2.4% in February.
Fuel prices jumped 21% in a single month, the biggest such rise since 1967, pushing the average gallon to $4.15, roughly 40% above pre-war levels. The White House called the disruption temporary, but economists warned food prices are set to further rise in April.
Europe could face jet fuel shortages in three weeks, industry body warns
Europe could face systemic jet fuel shortages if the Strait of Hormuz doesn’t reopen in a “significant and stable way” within the next three weeks, a group representing the airport industry has warned.
The Airports Council International Europe (ACI) – which represents over 600 airports across the continent – called for the EU to take immediate measures to avoid such a scenario in a letter to the European Commission yesterday, which was obtained by CNN today.
