Emulation can be confusing, not aways straightforward.  I had no issues running 1440p at 60 fps mario sunshine on integrated graphics, once I got the settings right.

What emulator are you using?  Some work better than others.

GLideN64 on Project64. Always leads to a black screen— seems to be an issue with AMD & whatever runs GLideN64, from what I understand. Dolphin also is a nightmare in that it either works perfectly, or I’m spending an hour non-sto restarting my PC b/c NSMBWii keeps crashing with an immediate black screen upon opening. (Funnily enough, no other game has this issue. Only NSMBWii for whatever reason. Hmm… I’m sure there’s some explanation.)

I tend to use Retroarch, and just the relevant cores.  I found it easier than separate applications.  I did make an exception for N64 Recomp, limited game selection but works well.

I've never really had any issues with Dolphin and NSMBWii is listed as having perfect compatibility. You could try changing the graphics plugin to something else (direct3d/vulkan/opengl) than whatever you have it on. But likely the problem is the NSMBWii iso you have is corrupted.

And yeah even a very old system can run Dolphin at 4k/60. Even a GTX 1060 should.

It's the version Nintendo prepared for the NVIDIA Shield TV for the Chinese Market. Same for the 3D allstarts version.

The shield run the same NVIDIA chip as the Switch and somehow Nintendo gave 4 games to sell to NVIDIA. Only in China as far as I'm aware of. The games where:

Super Mario Galaxy, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Punch-Out!!, and New Super Mario Wii, released between 2017-2019.

Here is a video, people playing the game with some more back info:
