I bought this game over a year ago and still haven't started it.
At this rate, I'm going to save it for the inevitable Switch 2 upgrade, as I feel like playing it on the Lite doesn't do it any justice.

Wow. Had no idea you were that young lol. Crazy.

I still have my original Oracle of Ages cart from back in the day, still have my save file... still stuck with no clue where to go next. It's been so long, I don't even know how to find out where I am to help me. lol. It's at this underwater area with whirlpools. Been stuck there since 2002.

I had just turned 14yo at the time, for reference. Not super young…well…I don’t think so, at least lol. Those two games give me so much nostalgia :( especially Breath of the Wild.

I kind of wish BOTW was my entry point. I've experienced the franchise since its inception, and BOTW was such a massive departure in a lot of ways that it made it difficult to fully buy into it. I can still see how it has the reputation it does, though, and I did beat it with my launch Switch back in the day but man, was it different.
I just ordered Tears on Amazon. Recently fixed my launch Switch and going to give it a shot. I'm hoping nine years of growth and a different, more open mindset lets me fully appreciate it instead of constantly wishing it was OOT lol. What you grew up playing and what you are familiar with can be quite the hurdles.

I was 28 when BOTW came out, Ocarina was my entry point back in 1998.
Nice to have some younger blood on the forums, I feel like 90% of us on VGC are Gen X/Millennials from the SNES and prior haha

Definitely nice to have a different look from a younger audience on games.
I was 30 when it came out. Zelda on NES was my entry point
I'm currently up to my 3rd divine beast (the desert area). So far, the desert is my least favorite area, but I'm still enjoying the game very much!
