It would appear that ssj12's well meaning submission to the New York Times is too little, too late. I therefore present to you the first in what will no doubt be a long series of poorly thought-out articles, emphasizing every myth that the Wii's bashers are so desperate to believe. Step right up, ladies and gentlemen, and feast your eyes upon what next week will bring you! Behold the source material for a new Wii Bingo board! Watch in amazement as arguments you thought were dead and buried rise from their rotted graves, smellier and more suspect than ever before!

Here, you shall find the fallacies of the New York Times article regurgitated in expanded form, with a twist: now its written by a columnist who at least pretends to care about the industry. That's right folks, no blaming this one on the ignorance of the mainstream media. In addition, we have the old "3rd party games don't sell" theory, using No More Heroes and Zack and Wiki as the sole examples, while highlighting the third party successes as anamolous because they are proven franchises.
But wait, there's more! Not content with that, or with the "casuals only play Wii Sports" statement (yes, folks, it's there in all its glory!), this article goes all the way and says that the Wii is not two, not three, but one count 'em ONE Gamecube, presumably wrapped in duct-tape! You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll wonder why a grown man would ever embarass himself in front of millions of strangers like this. Get it while it's hot!
Edit: Um...yeah, the link doesn't seem to be working if you click on it, but it does if you copy and paste. No idea what's wrong. Boy do I feel embarrased...
Editing the edit: And now it seems to be fine again. Karma, you're a total b****...
