Religion is nothing more then a Belief System. And Belief Systems are birthed every day.

It's why Christianity has gone in so many different paths over time (Catholic, Calvinism, Orthodox,etc), Same for Islam, Hinduism, etc. And it will continue to do so.

But there are plenty of Belief Systems that are religious in nature that might not be that obvious at first.

Here in The Netherlands we have 'Extinsion Rebellion' gluing themselves to roads fueled by their Belief System.

Marxism is a Belief System thinking everybody is the same, ignoring that not everyone is born to be an Olympic champ, a Genius or Super Model.

MAGA is a Belief System.

Most of the time Belief Systems are moderate. They influence how people live, but do not try to subjugate others by intimidation.

You can't 'kill' Belief Systems. As one falters another will spring to life. It's what humans do.

No you can choose another profession. Doctors can refuse dangerous elective procedures btw, people that want their limbs amputated for example. But they can't refuse to treat people based on race / religion. 

Anyway what Curl means is that you can choose to present yourself the way you want, not force others to present themselves they way you want. Mind your own business basically, don't force it onto others.

Religion/beliefs are a set of rules you impose on yourself to live by, not onto others. That's up to society as a whole to decide on. And then you can still choose to move the different country if the laws don't fit your beliefs. You can't however steal/oppress someone else's country and impose your beliefs on them.
