Nice, enjoy your PC. Only downside about going PC is that you hardly can go back to console :D

Something went wrong with your post, but I take it that you've finally built it, right?

*Edit* Oh, boy. Looks like the thread has broken.

Good to know! You'll soon be ready to play on it.

And you've learned to not download Windows on an Apple computer.

Alright... I'm feeling optimistic. After three days of fighting with the setup of this thing (I actually had the PC up and running just well, even played some Sonic Adventures through Steam, but after a restart, everything hit the fan. No idea why it's now working after my 50th hard reset and reboot, but... here I am), I am now able to say that this is my first post on VGChartz from this PC. :) I feel very close to being done. All that's left is, um, (i) to make sure I don't have that catastrophic issue I was just dealing with for the past hour upon turning the PC off, and (ii) getting all my emulators (e.g. Duckstation) and controllers set up.

Shifting from Apple to Windows is quite an experience. Honestly, I much prefer the Windows interface over Apple.

Apple has basically kept the same interface for Apple since the introduction of the iMac over 25 years ago. Microsoft (and Linux distros) on the other hand had multiple redesigns in the meantime to adapt to the changing demands of their customers.

I agree with this post.  With the exception of Nintendo first party games, consoles do not get me going anymore.  All PC.  I love customizing graphics to get high fps.

I wish I could help you with your problem but, as I told Zkuq on the PC thread, I'm on the group that looks for help when there's a problem with their PCs, not the group that helps.

I hope it works fine now.
