Other sales are more prominent for Switch 2
Switch: 17.70 / 154.01 = 11.49%
Switch 2: 1.93 / 10.36 = 18.63%
The Other category accounts for 18.63 % of Switch 2 sales, much higher than OG Switch. Maybe Nintendo are pushing it more in China?

The Switch 1 has definitely surpassed the DS by now, but it's funny how it ended Q3 10,000 units behind the DS. Huge congrats!
The Switch 2's momentum continues! Excited to see the numbers for its first holiday season!

Other sales started out much stronger for Switch.
2.56 / 7.63 = 33.55%
5.20/ 14.86 = 35%
This time Nintendo has more stock for more countries other than Japan. When they do manage to procure stock for Japan, Other sales will lag behind.

Some people are just obsessed with PS2 and need some new material.
| curl-6 said: With this many sales in a quarter with only one big game, I think we can put to rest any notion that Switch 2 is in trouble or losing steam. All that online FUD about it being overpriced/Nintendo's Xbox One moment/etc turned out to count for nothing in the end. |
It's really bizarre how much of a repeat the discourse around the Switch 2 launch was online compared with the first.
Complaints about the high price, third party support, and weak hardware were mostly the same between the two.
Then when both launched and became huge hits the discourse shifted to "it's a success... but it's going to lose momentum soon! It's only the enthusiasts buying it!"
And then the cliff never came for both of them, lol. It's like these people never learn anything.
Hopefully these results put these nonsensical talks to rest, but when the Switch 3 releases, you just know it's going to happen again.

Don't start again, from your alternative account. You will get the ban here as well. for SPAMMING! The people don't care who wants what. Don't you get it already ? (and besides, it's never been about what I want anyways, it's what Nintendo wants and will do, given the current circumstances now and for the next few years, as for the numbers themselves they are just what I expected). |
Interesting that @Bandorr doesn't say anything about you claiming this is an alt of mine (you did it several times before in your little rant). Just to be clear, can you quote me calling you out about Switch 1 quarterly sales before? This should be good enough proof that it's really not me because the fiscal year forecast being revised downward should be good news for someone wanting Switch to fail to reach 160 million. This poster instead believes these results are good for Switch.
These results are bad for Switch. Nintendo is clearly about to start bleeding the channel bringing the sellthrough and shipments closer like last holiday where the shipments were lower than the sellthrough. So could you please stop claiming this is my alt. It really isn't. I can admit, you probably have some crow for me soon bit it isn't over yet. A final revision or just the tariffs being lowered causing the price to atleast go back to normal could prolong it.

IIRC weren’t you among those who were saying Switch 2 sales were “losing steam”? I feel like I’ve had multiple conversations with you on this topic? And yeah, people like to joke about how Sony chooses not to give definitive PS2 figures.

Was just about to say:Link to (testimonial) evidence. In fact, I just pulled up my Target app and found that XBSX isn’t even being listed as a product anymore. Only Series S. Accessories are mostly on sale. Games are being sold at normal price, very low stock on everything. |

You also stop it. Do I think one of you is an alt? Probably. Infact do I think both of you are alts? Yes? Do I have any evidence? No.
Stop picking fights with people. It will get you no where.
You are bound to love Earthbound.
@Bandorr I haven't picked a fight with anyone. You don't get to accuse me of being something just because of your allegiance. Do I think you are a Sony fan seeking any excuse to abuse your "power"? Yes? Do I have proof? Actually yes!
Anyways the point stands. Why are you OK with xtreme consistently accusing me of things and as soon as I do the same, you look forward to moderating? Don't you think that's all the proof I need to point towards your bias?
