Gamepass is no longer the "best value" in gaming.
Not at 30$ a month.

The irony is all this is making PS Plus Premium seem like better value, as time goes on, and Xbox/MS keep raising prices.

Sounds like too many people are trying to cancel at the same time, that the website to cancel is crashing.

I've got a new video discussing the changes to Xbox Game Pass. This includes the changes to the tiers, new perks, new pricing, and more.

So I have been paying for ultimate for me and my partner. Not going to be paying $720 per year when I can just buy 12 AAA games per year for that price (about how many games I do play in a year.) Sorry Xbox, I am out. Consolidating my purchases to Steam and GOG going forward, to be honest. 

you can share your Ultimate with your Partner, just one needs to pay for gamepass ultimate. I do the same with my son, I registered my GPU account on his series s and downloaded the games via my gamepass and created his own account. He uses his account to play and i can play on my account. We can also play the same game or different ones online together.

So much for Gamepass being the "best deal in gaming". $360 a year for a rental service.

Yeah, at this point, I'm done with Game Pass Ultimate. It's too expensive for me. That, and I haven't been using my Xbox much lately, so I'll switch to the Essential tier for now. I need to warn my brother about the price change so that he won't be surprised by the price hike.

Since the growth has slowed down close to the point of stagnation, they're hoping to at least get as much money as they can from the existing subscribers. These mass cancellations may force them to reverse their decision, like they did after trying to double the price of Xbox Live Gold back in 2022~.

Yeah. I don't spend that much on new games in a year. And the ones I do buy, I buy physical and thus, own.

Now retro, on the other hand... sigh.
