It might be a good idea to list the most notable current gen only games, since there are just not that many of them lol.

Baldur's Gate 3, Astro Bot, FF7 Rebirth, Donkey Kong Bananza, Spider-Man 2, Death Stranding 2, Tekken 8, Indiana Jones, Rift Apart, Monster Hunter Wilds, Dragon's Dogma 2, Final Fantasy 16, Silent Hill 2 Remake, MGS Delta, Returnal, STALKER 2, Mario Kart World, Stellar Blade, Starfield, Helldivers 2, Forza Motorsport, Avowed, Hellblade 2, Wukong, Honkai Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero, Wuthering Waves. What am I missing?

Good idea; I'm finding it strangely difficult to find a good list online.

Yours is the best I've found so far, every other one seems to randomly throw in crossgen games as if the author's too stupid to understand what "current gem exclusive" means.

It has to be either Elden Ring, Armored Core 6, Baldur's Gate 3, or Silksong.

Technically Elden Ring, Armoured Core 6, and Silksong are on PS4/Xbox One as well.

Clair Obscur and Baldur's Gate 3 are legit though.

If I have to choose, I guess I'm picking Mario Kart World (disclaimer: I haven't played too many current gen games yet). Despite some things not being quite right for my personal taste (somewhat lacking character selection, battle mode being a joke, free roam needs to be A LOT more fleshed out...), I really enjoy the more open nature of the game (24 racers at once, I actually like intermission tracks, all the crazy stuff you can do with walls and other track elements is great), the soundtrack is absolutely insane and a huge tribute to the Mario brand in general... and while I think character selection itself is a bit lacking in terms of actual named characters, costumes are awesome and I like being able to play as some of the background characters. Also, both the new tracks design and the classic ones are very, VERY good and imaginative, easily being on par with the best of MK8 and Wii (my personal favourites as far as track design is concearned) and sometimes surpassing them.

It's a game I see myself coming time and time again for the entire Switch 2 lifetime. I guess that speaks volumes about how good I think it is.

From the games I played: Donkey Kong Bananza, Astrobot, Alan Wake 2 and Indiana Jones.

Baldur's Gate 3. Probably.

My list is still bad as it's mainly titles off the top of my head. I somehow forgot about 4 of the best ones and GOTY contenders: Clair Obscur, Split Fiction, Alan Wake 2 and Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.

Other notable games:

Assassin's Creed Shadows, Star Wars Outlaws, Dragon Age The Veilguard, Dead Space Remake, Hell is Us, and of course... the venerable MindsEye.

And Demon's Souls, TloU Part 1, Ghostwire Tokyo, Deathloop, Hi-Fi Rush, Microsoft Flight Simulator, Cronos, The Medium, Pacific Drive, Phantom Liberty (expansion), and more! The list isn't as small as I remember.

A bit of a cheat, but...

Demon's Souls Remake

Based on those rules, it's Astro Bot for me.

I'm going to plagiarize myself, because it's early and I haven't had any coffee:

Astro Bot is remarkable for many reasons. Its graphics are polished to perfection; its art direction is whimsical and expressive; its music is catchy and evocative; its controls are impossibly nimble; and its PlayStation fan service is unrivaled. But what makes it so exceptional, and what allows it to compete with the best the genre has to offer, is its sense of playfulness. The game is constantly inventing, surprising, and amusing. It refuses to stay in one place for too long, always eager to show the player a new idea, gadget, mechanic, or location. It's simply bursting at the seams with creative energy.
