It seems the only real difference from other gaming PC devices on the market is you will be able to play your digital console library.

But I don't see the appeal. I own hundreds of digital Xbox games but why on earth would I want to play the Xbox One / Xbox Series builds of games on a device that would be able to run the far superior PC versions at higher settings/res/fps than the console build? Considering old PC games are cheap as muck... the backwards compatible angle here just doesn't seem like that big a draw when you actually think about it.

Like... is it a really a benefit that I can play the Xbox One build of Rise of the Tomb Raider on the Xbox Magnus, when I can just grab a steam key of it for $3 and completely max the settings and run it at any fps/resolution I want?

I voted 6-10m range.

I think a ~1200$ Xbox PC hybrid sells about that much, to the die hard xbox fans... and that's about it.
I don't see it going over 10m.

Depending on how it actually turns out, it could be closer to 6m, than 10m.

So if the next Xbox is a pc, are we even going to call it a next gen Xbox? Or do we just stop counting them and it's Nintendo and Playstation we cover as far as consoles?

Rog Ally Xbox isn't on the chart. My guess is that the admin won't put it because the numbers will probably be mediocre.

As long as we get enough information the plan would be to track the next-gen Xbox even if it is a hybrid PC console. We tracked the Wii U and PS Vita despite how terribly they sold. If we ever got official Steam Deck numbers we would add them to the Platform Totals page.

As far as how well I think an Xbox PC console hybrid could sell? I am guessing between 10 million and 20 million lifetime depending how the price. $800 would be on the higher end of around 20 million and as the price is higher than that I would predict lower. This is with a traditional 7 to 8 year lifecycle before it is replaced. With it being more of a PC I wouldn't be surprised if a more powerful unit comes out every 4 to 5 years with games still supporting at least the previous model.
