Will probably add some brief blurbs for the reasons later but for now I'd say:

1. SNES

2. N64

3. Xbox 360

4. GameCube

5. NES

6. Switch

7. Wii

8. Dreamcast

9. DS

10. Genesis (PS2 is close but I never did own it or most of the games, only played at friends' houses so doesn't have the same value/sentimentality for me)

Around the Network

Half of the list is really based on emulator experience. And mostly personal nostalgia.

0. PC - excluding that:
1. Master System
2. Mega Drive/Genesis (including 32X and Mega CD/Sega CD)
3. PS2
4. PS1
5. SNes
6. PSP
7. Videopac/Odyssey2
8. Game Gear
9. WonderSwan Color
10. GBA

1.  NES - The most innovative and influential console ever.  It was so influential that most people don't even understand the appeal of pre-NES games.

2.  Switch - Hybrid console with a great library of old, new, first party and third party games all at home or on the go.

3.  PS2 - The sweet spot for 3D gaming.  PS1 was a little too primitive, not just graphically, but also lacking in good action games compared to PS2.  PS3 and later killed the number of major releases with expensive budgets.  PS2 is just right.

4.  Wii - It had so many great games, but it loses a few points for wasted potential.  I'd like to see motion controls make a more serious comeback.

5.  GBA - The last true 2D system has plenty of great old and new 2D games.

6.  PS1 - Yeah I just said it lacked action games, but it has the best RPGs.

7.  SNES - Refined what came before while also having some fun new genres too.

8.  Genesis - Compares favorable to the SNES, with the SNES being just a bit better.

9.  PS3 - Had some great games, but it took a few years before it really got going.

10.  Atari 2600 - Not much left here I still want to play, and yet it has such an important place in gaming history.

1. PS2
2. X360
3. SNES
4. PS1
5. Switch
6. Mega Drive
7. PS4
8. Dreamcast
9. NES
10. Wii

My favorite system is the SNES, since it was my first step into gaming and I absolutely love it's library.

Then, in no particular order:

- NES
- PS1
- PS2
- Wii
- Atari 2600
- Mega Drive
- Nintendo 64
- GameCube
- PS3 or Xbox 360.
