I'm not exactly a fan of how more game characters look exactly like the actors (even though I know it helps with mocap)

Eh that's been a thing for a long time now. PC Engine had a game modeled after two comedians. Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee games over the years. Of course movie movie-licensed games over the decades. Bujingai on PS2 after Gackt. Onimusha series. Siren series used FMVs of the actors' faces on the models. LA NOIR. Not a trend. Just been going on since forever.

Outlaws remaster, Dawn of War 4, and Lego Batman?! Already a goated showcase by Geoff standards

You called down the thunder, now reap the whirlwind
That was about decent I'd say. As mentioned the Lego Batman game looks nice and there were some other neat stuff like Long Gone and Denshattack. It would've been cooler if the Silksong announcement on Thursday was revealed during it but it getting another confirmation for 2025 is still a win so for ONL standards this was probably above average for me.

Skong is coming.
Pretty good for Gamescon overall, it does feel like an E3 of old.
