Okay, wow. They show off a nice looking engine and suddenly everyone wants Nintendo to gobble them up? That's not only unnecessary, it smells like desperation. And Nintendo isn't in a desperate situation.

No. Just a couple here.

The crazy ones...

They're an unproven IP without a great track record.  They may be something in the future, but right now they're just a blip on the radar screen that could be gone tomorrow just as easily as they appeared today.

Kinda reminds me of Retro.

Does it really?

Nobody knew who retro was before nintendo came along.

They should just sell license's to the engine to other wii developers, like epic did with their unreal engine 3. Then just stay a independent 3rd party dev and have Nintendo publish their in house games. FTW

This game screams 09 unless we want another Red Steel...

Hey, I actually want another Red Steel.

I gotta give Ubisoft some props for having the balls to make the first FPS and release the first screenshots and all that for such a mediocre game.  Great experiments, great baby steps in the right direction.  Flaws aside, it was an a for effort and an A for presentation at that early stage.  I mean... it's not like it came out at the same time Lair did.

I give you a couple points here. But the basic point of my post was that the game needs to be better than Red Steel. I love Red Steel for what it was, but today, I would not give it a chance. Ubisoft did not just get props from me, they gained my respect in a big way. And I totally want a sequel, just not thee exact same game again.

"The only problem with RS was the controls,"

This is so wrong in my opinion. The controls were bad but also:

1) The voice acting was shoddy at best and tragic at worst.

2) The story screamed of Transporter (in a not so good way).

3) Irratic A.I.

4) Glitch fest (at times).

5) Weak ass multi player. Solid at what it did? Sure, but the lack of bots and limited stages really hurt what would have been a good experience.

But in my opinion, about thee only true stand out quality of the game (and by that I mean, still solid today), is the music. The music was very creative and in my opinion, top notch. Also, thee engine used is very solid and was used well in No More Heroes.
