Too Human was disappointing to me but, I might play it again when I'm not so distracted. I also decided to get Unreal Tournament 3. It's a good game but the achievements are hard, I don't know if I'll win this race.

Well I'm officially out of the Unreal race. My THIRD Xbox just died on me. Important to note that I keep it completely vented and never move it.

*shrugs*

So I won't be on Live for maybe up to a month.

Ya'll please don't kick me out of the league. I promise I will be back and hopefully in time for Soul Calibur 4.

Anyone wanting to surpass me in Gamerscore has a golden opportunity now.

You know, I diss the sony fans but one thing they say is correct, this RROD shit ain't cool, and I can paitently wait, catch up on my DS games, life will go on and I will get a new system but.... it just feels wrong. NO system should break this much. I have an effin ole' NES that still works.

Well... you play final fantasy 11...... will they give you money back for your subscription for the month you're gone? Microsoft will give you 1 month of live... but...

Damn.

Anyway, play phoenix wright. That game lasts forever.

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... No I got really lucky and cancelled my FFXI account the day before it bricked. I hope I get another month of Live because I had just added another year subscription.

I might check out phoenix wright. I'm thinking about getting FF Tactics or Guitar Hero DS. But in the meantime I'm gonna get back into Ninja Gaiden DS, Zelda PH and The World Ends with You.

Still I'm bummed that Unreal has to wait :o(

Anyway, I'll be back eventually, thanks for not deleting me from the league.

I'd like to join the league, XBL: munkeh111, i'll send a request to VG Chartz soon

@Machina

Gratz on BioShock! Man I need to get that Brass Balls Achievement one day.

If you want to get in on the JRPG action - Lost Odyssey, Eternal Sonata, Blue Dragon

More racing? Burnout Paradise, Forza 2, PGR4 perhaps.

More shooters? Hmm not much I can say, maybe The Darkness, FEAR.

Some button mashing? Ninja Gaiden 2, Devil May Cry 4.

Some hidden gems? imo, its Crackdown, Kameo, Viva Pinata.

WPRGS? Have you played Oblivion?

FEAR is a great FPS but don't expect easy achievements from it - it's a bitch in that regard. Crackdown I've gone back to a little bit and you have no excuse not to buy it - it's dirt cheap now and easily amongst the 360's best.

Oh well, I think I'm going to be the first member to join the 'Alone in the Dark' completionist club. Yay? I've managed to play through the whole game, it wasn't easy though (not talking about the difficulty here)! xD

By the way:

(I lol'd)

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

50 points away from 1100/1100 in Lost Odyssey

Since I probably won't be in the next few races I'll be finishing up a few games I have been neglecting. Assassin's Creed, Forza 2, & DMC4.

I'm still on the fence about Too Human.  I played the demo again tonight and it's starting to grow on me.  I just don't think it's worth the price of admission.  I've been contemplating a subscription to Gamefly for games like this but I hear lots of negative feedback about them, especially with new releases. Is it bad that I hate missing out on so many races that it's starting to influence my buying habits

@Machina

The first Condemned is a fun game too and the achievements are pretty easy to get. Playing through just once and and backtracking a few levels should get you everything. It maxes at 970/970 instead of the normal 1k though.

It was an early game but had some pretty fresh ideas for a FPS. Doing a survival horror type FPS where it almost exclusively uses melee weapons is something I haven't seen much of in the past. Good news it's also super cheap. I still need to finish it but I paid $10 used here in the US.

I haven't played the 2nd so can't comment much on that but one of my good friends played it and enjoyed it quite a bit. He said the combat was much deeper and fleshed out from the first. Both are very underrated games IMO.

I'll second most all of EagleEye's suggestions and throw out a few budget titles of my own. All of these games will run you less then $20 US. A few probably closer to $10.

DiRT - It's made by same team behind GRID but rally racing. It's a next gen version of Colin McRae w/o his name attached. Races range from point to point, hill climb, to circuit tracks. It has a good mix of vehicle classes as well. You race buggies, trucks, rally cars, even semi's. I saw you had GRID so if you like that and are into rally racing then you'll like this too.

Lost Planet - Opinions are all over the place on this one but it's a decent TPS. It came out around right after Gears of War and IMO got a lot of negative criticism because it just wasn't as good. I still have a copy and enjoy it. Not a bad budget game to look into. It has a lot of online achievements that aren't easy to get (online kinda died off on it) but still should net an easy 300-400 points.

Beautiful Katamari - Pretty quirky title. If you ever played the PS2 iterations then you know what to expect. It's $20 new now so should be even cheaper used.

CoD2 - yeah yeah it's a WW2 shooter and a launch title on top of that. But it's from the team who does WW2 shooters better than anybody else. Super cheap.

Dark Sector - I hesitating put this title up here but will anyway. It's a mid-tier release and overlooked but just about everybody. That said I rented the game and had a ton of fun with it. It's a game built around a unique glaive weapon but it does that one thing very well. Graphics are suprisingly decent, story is trash, enemy AI is bad, bosses aren't anything memorable, but the glaive is pretty darn fun :).  Probably not a glowing review by any means but you asked for lesser known titles so if you run out of things to play it's worth looking into.
