Could try to weigh/rubber band/tape one of the controls sticks down.

I have tried just leaning my controller against something with the analogue stick pressed up. Maybe if I used the rubber band trick so there were so analogue sticks going it would work?

Probably, so long as the game is getting some sort of control input.

I am using the Hori Stick, I will be done by tomorrow night with this achievemenet

I have rechargable batteries and a quick charge kit, I just don't want wires trailing across the floor

Grrr, I tried the rubber band trick, and the controller still turns off after 15 minutes. I also tried holding down buttons, but no luck...

You guys are funny, skeezing achievements.

If you get an achievement but don't earn it, does it really matter that you got it in the first place? Seems to me like it would take the pride out of it.

Meh, things like Party like it's 1999 and Seriously 2.0 are what call "time investment" achievements. They don't require a particular level of skill as much as lots and lots of time. So the challenge in these goals is to find the fastest route to finishing them.

I admitted it's kind of cheap how I got 1999, but it's kind of a cheap achievement as well. I don't have any particularly pride about Seriously 2.0 either, I just grinded it out while watching movies on PIP. If someone finds a more clever way to do it faster or with less effort, more power to him. =)

I took one look at both of those achievements and said "screw that SO much!" :)

I did this method yesterday with the hori stick... But my Xbox was off when I comeback from work...
