140/200 on Portal: Alive. All I have left to do is finish the challenge chambers for 200. Most of the achievements are quick and easy though, I don't know if it should be a race.

Agreed that Portal Still Alive may end up as a farce. What do others think? It seems there isnt much more to the game than what you got in The Orange Box.

Although the Challenge Achievements can be difficult.

Just got some good news in my email about 5 minutes ago...apparently my 360 has already been mailed back to me from Microsoft. I got an update this morning saying they received it today and just now another update saying the replacement just shipped out. All in all it took less than a week from the day I mailed it off...guess they got this turnaround down to a science now lool. I should be back in business about middle of next week

Nice. There are many complaints on the Lionhead forums that Fable 2 is making 360s RROD. I certainly hope its not starting the process for mine. I am requesting Amazon to give me a replacement disc at the moment.

Which ones? I got every achievement in the same day completely without a guide. Maybe that's because I tortured myself to get all the portal achievements in The Orange Box, but still Machina probably would have them all too if he didn't keep getting screwed out of "Out of the Blue".

Oh btw, I caved in to (your) peer pressure and bought Fable 2 on Amazon today. Looks like the achievements are a bit easy though, which is a shame.

 

That sucks, I managed it the first time I tried.  The hardest part I thought was at the end of chamber 18 where you would have to fire 2 portals every time you fell, with no margin for error.

Maybe, any idea how many people are playing it?  If it's only a few I may finally get some race points.

College is just making it too hard to get large amounts of GS in any given week, or complete games quickly.

Since Gears 2 is coming out in a week and we now have Horde Mode and no longer have to get kills in Ranked matches to go towards the achievements, I wanted to get a list of people who can play together whenever we're on at the same time.

This way we can make our own horde/public matches (or whatever they're called now) and create our own team of good players and beat most of the other teams asses from actual teamwork. No having to worry about people dropping out or not knowing how to play etc... So give me a heads up on who to add, this should make it a lot funner getting to 100k kills.

I'm always on from late in the evening till early morning, so that should mean I am online when you are probably online being from the Netherlands. I surely wouldn't mind having a decent team or at least a team who wants to win, not just kill as many people as possible. I've played a lot of online matches already almost never is there any team spirit, something which in my opinion is very important.
