Nintendo announced in the last Financial report that Nintendo Switch has sold 152.12 million units worldwide as of March 31, 2025.

A total of 1.26 million Switch hardware and 31.43 million software were sold during the three months ended March 31, 2025.

Nintendo also said that it is forecasting 15 million hardware units and 45 million software units sold for Switch 2 in fiscal year 2026, which ends on March 31, 2026

Nintendo also shared updated sales numbers for its first-party Switch titles.

The 10 best-selling first-party Switch titles are:

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 68.20 million
Animal Crossing: New Horizons – 47.82 million
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – 36.24 million
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 32.81 million
Super Mario Odyssey – 29.28 million
Pokemon Scarlet / Pokemon Violet – 26.79 million
Pokemon Sword / Pokemon Shield – 26.72 million
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – 21.73 million
Super Mario Party – 21.16 million
New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe – 18.25 million

Newly announced additional first-party sales numbers include:

Nintendo Switch Sports – 16.27 million
Mario Party Superstars – 14 million
Super Mario Party Jamboree – 7.48 million
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom – 4.09 million
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (2024) – 2.10 million
Mario & Luigi: Brothership – 1.97 million
Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD – 1.88 million
Donkey Kong Country Returns HD – 1.27 million (New)

More than 1,391.23 million Switch games have been sold worldwide.

this post is so much cleaner than the other one.

I think he is off, so I created this one, but I dont care if the mods wants to delete this thread when he create or update the other one. 

Fantastic numbers all around, both for the console and the games. Very unsurprised that MK8 Deluxe is #1, that game is the goat. Also, I think bundles mustve sold like pancakes.

Im surprised Violet/Scarlett sold so well considering how bad they are, this is a bad sign for the future of the franchise.

Curl is on holiday it seems, Mario Kart has near 50% attach rate that means almost 1 in two Switch owners has purchased the game even more mad is that it had around 50% attach rate on WiiU as well I can't think of any game that achieved that on two separate platforms.

Switch is also less than 2m from becoming the all time second best selling platform of all time and it's going to pull that off in the coming months.
