please be HD-2D... and don't mess with the games mechanics. Leave it as is.

I actually expected this to be revealed soon given the recent Chrono Trigger PR last month with the 30th anniversary. It seemed to be ramping up towards something.

Over the course of a year, they said.

Let's just say, I'll only believe it if we actually see it's reveal on a Nintendo Direct(obviously).

It will probably be more of that Square Enix HD-2D eye bleed, so no, thank you very much.

I'm curious why you feel that way, because I assume you checked the video where you can at least hear the word "remake".
Brief scrolling through comments and you see people who claim to speak Italian confiirm the subtitles about that are correct.

Meh, that's the thing, I'm just not into the "interviewee accidently speels important leak on a random comic con". 

Nonetheless, seeing is believing in the end. Just like the Pikmin 4 being announced to be "near completion" years before the actual fact by Miyamoto.

HD-2D sucks. Give me a normal 2D remake with graphics similar to Sea of Stars but improved.
