For me it comes to

TotalSpend 2025-02-14 10:32:21.947 878.02 USD
OldSpend 2025-02-14 10:32:21.947 456.07 USD
PWSpend 2025-02-14 10:32:21.947 0.00 USD
ChinaSpend 2025-02-14 10:32:21.947 0.00 RMB
PackageOnlySpend 2025-02-14 10:32:21.947 825.65 USD

Where OldSpend is everything prior April 17, 2015

I've had Steam since its release (for HL2), so from 2003 to 2015, avg $38 a year.
2015 till now, $42 a year.

I don't play much on PC though and this tracks purchases through Steam, not games you register to Steam through other means.

Anyway cheaper than gamepass ;)

And still many unplayed games in my Steam library of a measly 123 games.

Interesting! This is the amounts that I have for my account.

TotalSpend2025-04-09 22:12:43.6279195.18USD
OldSpend2025-04-09 22:12:43.627392.86USD
PWSpend2025-04-09 22:12:43.6270.00USD
ChinaSpend2025-04-09 22:12:43.6270.00RMB
PackageOnlySpend2025-04-09 22:12:43.6276206.31USD

Although I'm not sure what PackageOnlySpend is referring to.

Setup makes sense though. I played on Steam occasionally prior to 2015 as I was still playing games that came physically on PC till the early 2010s when physical PC games completely died before transitioning fully to Steam. Though I was still playing Battle.net a lot as well.

As I said in the PC thread, this is one of those times where I value my peace of mind over my curiosity. So, thank you but, in this case, ignorance is a bliss.

Please excuse my bad English.

Former gaming PC: i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Current gaming PC: R5-7600, 32GB RAM 6000MT/s (CL30) and a RX 9060XT 16GB

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Only a bit over 1k. It's rare that I buy anything outside of a sale. However, I've bought plenty from others like GoG, Greenman, and Humble. Oh, and one game plus DLC from Epic but never again.

$2756.72 total spend

$529.47 of that before April 17th 2015.

And most of my games come from bundles and key sites so that it's still that high upsets me.

320 bucks since 2008. I so rarely play on steam. Most of the stuff I have was given to me. Someof what I bought I gifted to friends. It would be half that if just spent on myself.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

300 dollars, nothing to it.
I rarely buy directly on Steam I suppose.

That is more than I was expecting. I wonder if that includes gifted games.

Honestly, that's OK for like 15 years in it.

Looking at my purchase history, it looks like the total amount spent doesn't include refunds. Like 3/4 of my Steam purchase history is refunds lol
