Welcome to 2006.  I definitely do think this is a game that could benefit from a Wiimake though.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Uhh, where have you been?

And actually, it has a European release date. Both the Okami game pages (for the PS2 and Wii) have the European release dates.

Certainly a great game. It seems to have carved out quite a little niche for itself. Selling as well as expected, at least in week 1, and has brought new fans to the game. Excellent. It's a success as far as I'm concerned. Lets hope Capcom feels the same way.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

Yes Okami is good, I was one of the few people that purchased it on Ps2 based off of net previews. I remember sending one o f my couriers to get the game from the GameStop (they only had 2 copies?!?!?) and playing it heavy.

The game is very, Zelda-esque but not in a bad way, game is a classic in my opinion. I'd like to support the Wii version, but I still never finished the PS2 version (at the undewater dragon temple so i'm not far off, but not too close), and I can't justify spending 40 bucks on a game I already own, and haven't even finished.

I'm going to keep my PS2 copy because I'm sure it's going to be a rarity/collectible in the future.
