Forums - Nintendo - The Switch has the holy trinity of Japanese urban/hip-hop cell-shaded franchises

One thing about the Nintendo Switch that I think is really cool is that it is home to the three big stylish Japanese Urban/Youth culture franchises in gaming currently.

For starters, there's Nintendo's own Splatoon franchise with Splatoon 2 and 3, which stands out from other shooters with its graffiti/street inspired aesthetic and emphasis on youth culture.

Then there's both TWEWY games from Square Enix, The World Ends With You: Final Remix, and its sequel, NEO: The World Ends With You, which takes place in Tokyo's famous Shibuya district.
Finally, there's Team Reptile's games. Lethal League Blaze and Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, both loving homages to this aesthetic first established by Sega in Jet Set Radio (espcially the latter).

Now if Sega brings the new Jet Set Radio game to Nintendo Switch 2, or remasters the original and Jet Set Radio Future for both systems, then we'll really be feasting.
