I totally can understand wanting the linear style again, but I don't find Circle of the Moon glam at all. It's quite horror, imo. Even the intro music is bad ass.

I did like Circle but Ig did not and removed it from the canon. Then we get to the later games that were full on anime like Portrait of Ruin. Now Bloodstained is.

BTW, somebody knows if this series continues to have an official chronology? Because they expelled some games many years ago, but after some years, they included the N64 games again in some official material.

I'd want a 3D platfom adventure game. A souls-like would disappoint me.

Yeah. I didn't touch the DS games. My trek ended with the GBA trilogy. I just beat lV a couple weeks ago on real hardware/crt and holy... I think it's become my favorite. At least with regards to the OG style. Even with the slow down here and there. Just totally immersed me in the universe.

Castlevania 3 was always my favourite from the OG style. Castlevania 4 was a bit of a let down for me when I first played it.
