No surprises that the leaks for the design seem to line up with what was shown.
I'm not sure where that info that the joycons can function as a mosue came from, but that seems to be true as well.

Hopefully we'll see more games than Mario Kart on 2025.02.04 whenever that is, thanks to America insisting on jumbling the date order unlike how the rest of the world has it.
Hopefully February since April feels too far away.

Yeah I just saw the trailer on the UK Nintendo YT account, and there it said 2025.04.02

So it is indeed April.
That's quite a long wait.

Maybe they planned to reveal Switch 2 a bit closer to that date, but moved it up due to all the leaks getting out of hand.

On the website the Direct is confirmed to be in April.

There was a earlier rumor of a May or June release too.

They wouldnt want to wait too long because Switch 1 sales are gonna drop (unless they do price cuts or retailers do price cuts to clean out stock).
