Very interesting. I had my time-line a little off. Its also very funny (at least to me because i've never been a huge supporter of the original xbox) that under top games for xbox there is nothing listed. Even some of the older and more obscure systems have things listed but not the old xbox. Also i was under the impression that the nintendo was realeased in the US on October 18th 1985 not december 85

I paid £750 for my CDi (including video card) in 1994 which shows some idiots will pay any price for a new piece of technology!! :0D

 and the PS3 is considered expensive.. damn.. and the CDi was considered a truly insane buy when it was released.

I forgot to say I actually bought it to play 'space ace' which cost me £50 as well.

Consider also that in addition to the $970 price tag, you had to buy $600 modules just to play Genesis or TurboGrafx-16 games on it ($600 each that is)! 

That sure is alot of consoles.
