Well he leaked the side of the Switch 2 and the Dock, now it looks like the Next Handheld leaker is also leaking part of the actual Switch 2 Joycon. Looks like it might be two toned (the magnetic part)?



There's the new mystery C-button on the right Joycon.

There is also the possibility they're fake. I'd laugh so hard if Nintendo actually even delayed the announcement just to kick leakerballs!🤣😂 I would absolutley do it!!

When I read through the speculation about the hardware here, many people seem to have forgotten what it was like with the Switch 1. It has the Tregra X1 chip but in a customized form. And adjusted downwards. The Switch version is less than half as fast as the original chip. The same will happen with the Switch 2.

The dock could have a fan because maybe the power supply is in the dock or it has a fast charging function or something like that.

And with Mario Kart, Nintendo also started writing numbers in the names at some point. Why not do the same with the consoles?

The Tegra X1 wasn't really a customized chip at all, it was just (well) a Tegra X1 which was running on a poor design node (20nm) that ran hot. 

The T239 in the Switch 2 is a different story, that is a chip made for the Switch 2 primarily. It doesn't really make sense to downclock a custom chip because you're just paying for graphics cores on the chip you're basically not using. You could get the same result using fewer graphic cores and just clocking up and have a cheaper chip. 

The dock in the fan probably allows for the T239 to full clock.

Looks great. I only have the feeling this could be a prototype. It will look a bit different when it launches in march.

They probably want to avoid a Wii U situation with the marketing (granted Wii U had MANY issues beyond marketing but still), Nintendo I'm sure wants to make it clear the next Switch will be a full-fledged next-gen console. 

Though I could also maybe see "Super Switch".
