rumor has it that its weighed 10% vs 90% in favor of the judges part of the game awards.
Ei. everyone that votes for games, all together, only factor in, at 1 / 10th of the final score or placement.
Basically the juges there, on the pannels decide the winner or losers, with very little imput from the actual voteing audience.
I agree with the OP, and the guy who made that video.
The voteing audience (the avg. gamer) should atleast controll a small majority of the total vote.
So like 50-60% of the decideing factor, should come from the public at large (the gamers, that bother to vote).
While the remaining 40-50% should come from the judges on these pannels.
The 90 to 10% split is just really unfair, towards the avg gamer that votes.
These game awards arn't representative of the gamer at large, that votes.
Its just the opinion of Geoff and his buddies, that decides which games win (and money talks way to much).
