Nintendo sold the Gamecube in the US at a loss of $9.00 for the first few months but other than that, you are correct.

end of core gaming days prediction:
E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced
E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.
E3 2010- Tape runs out

Yes. Nintendo will gain profit from the Wii unit, the Wii Fit software title and the Balance Board itself.

9.00 you say didn't catch that when I looked it up. You said for the first few months what changed to make it profitabale, a smaller chip die perhaps.

| yushire said: So do you mean that Nintendogs a 3 year old game still continues to sell untill to this day? WOW Never knew that |
Take a look at the most recent worldwide charts:
| 17 | Nintendogs | 157 | 65,646 | 18,106,554 |
...
Personally, my favourite legs are for NSMB - even though its been out a lot less than Nintendogs:
| 16 | NSMB | 101 | 79,697 | 14,075,185 |
...
Brain Training also doing "ok":
| 12 | Brain Training | 153 | 83,282 | 12,652,043 |
...
Etc. WiiFit will definitely join all these - the difference is, that its a more expensive unit - and it requires specialised hardware to be manufactured. Think WiiPlay.

Nocturnal is helping companies get cheaper game ratings in Australia:
Wii code: 2263 4706 2910 1099

Look at the charts and you will see Nintendogs is still on there. And WiiFit is not its own console. You need a Wii to play it.
