All that proves is that certain titles or genres sell better on X360/PS3 and doesn't mean jack when you consider all 3rd party titles as a whole.

If you want to cherry pick by genre, then go ahead and ignore facts once again.

The overall notion is Wii cannot sell 3rd party titles. Not Wii can't sell 3rd party shooters or Soccer titles.

The problem is Viper1 that not a lot of games go multiplatform for this argument to be won by either side. As far as multiplatform...we have EA sports games with will do better on PS360 and then there is an odd game here and there like Sega tennis which will do better on the wii. If No more heroes came out on PS360...this would be a true test to see if wii really lags when it comes to 3rd party sales or not.

As you can see there is a lot more to multiplatform games than simply EA sports games ... Most licenced and highly marketed general market games tend to have sales relative to their userbase

Ah yes...guitar hero. Lego starwars is cool too...yeah I forgot these 2. Rest are totally forgetable so I don't fault myself for not remembering...  I'd still love to see what PS360 fans call "console sellers" appear on the wii and see what happens . MGS4 and GTA4 on wii anyone? :)

There was a rumbling about resident evil 5 possibly...

depends, will SF4wii have motion control for the hadouken ???

I think a good test of that will be starwars force unlished. Can motion sensing beat HD graphics?

haha...have you tried MK Armageddon and Gulty gear on Wii. I'll answer this question for you...HD graphics or not, you do not want to play SF on the Wii.

I was generalizing when I said EA sports games and mini game multiplayer games only go multiplatform but you should get the picture. We need GTA4, Splinter Cell, Call of Duty, Resident Evils...if these games sell well on the wii then no 3rd company will have an excuse not to invest time and money in to the Wii ports.

Alone in the Dark will be a nice test...i predict that some casual gamers go for the PS2 version and hardcore gamer gets the 360 version (ps3 doesnt come out till november)  and wii sales don't do so well.

it 's impossible for Wii Fit of any Nintendo game or wii mote or board game to kill the PS3, cause there are still many gamers who want to play many other games, it's not like the whole world wants non-games and party games and Mario..

So again it's a genre issue, not 3rd party in general.   Funny you mention RE yet Wii has 2 million selling RE titles already.

This is where the problem is.  People typically don't discern the difference when they lambast the Wii saying 3rd party titles don't sell on Wii.   You mean big budget mature rated titles.   That's cherry picking a type of 3rd party title of which Wii doesn't do as well at but it is certainly not the whole of3rd party title range.

EDIT: Ajax, are you in the wrong thread?
