Gotta love Rol's sarcasm... Arguing over third-party sales is pointless, of course. They're meaningless, as they're entirely out of any usable context. You would need at least profit margin per title to make any sort of sensical measurement, and we don't really have any way to gauge that from VG Chartz data alone.

i'm getting bored, somebody better give me some numbers. Anyone....... damn, no numbers.

 So take away that 47 thousand since it's unfair to include a launch week when the other consoles don't have launching titles and you get 390k on par with 360 but with a much bigger userbase.

Wow. The notion that the HD consoles are 3rd party powerhouses is clearly a myth. So what do the fanboys have to say about that? Funnily enough, they attempt to portray the Wii's spectacular first party sales in a negative light, drawing attention away from the relative failure of the HD consoles in this respect. It is downright pitiful that between them, they have only sold three 5+ million sellers. Lol.

Well now I feel kind of bad for joshing you in that other thread. But azrm2k, rolstoppable, and all the others just made me feel better.
Seriously though, don't waste too much energy trying to convince everyone that you're right. The data's been out there for the naysayers to see for quite a while now, so those who refuse to believe it probably aren't going to change their minds anytime soon. For now, just be satisfied that the rest of us do not buy into the myth.

And enjoy your games, although it may be hard to choose between the many 3rd party games coming out now. Personally, I'm getting Okami, but I'm sure you've got your own pick of the litter.
