INTRO

7 minute INTRO AND GAMEPLAY

GAMEPLAY

GTA IV Gameplay 1
No bullshit. Niko has the choice to help Ivan from falling off a building, or kick him off. He chose the obvious.

GTA IV Gameplay 2
Driving the motorcycle and car.

GTA IV Gameplay 3
Bashing old ladies, the new cover system, breaking into a car and a police car chase.

GTA IV Gameplay 4
Driving through Liberty City.

I'll have to flip a coin to determine whether or not I look at these later, don't want to ruin it so close to release, but my curiosity is killing me.

...

I just watched the video's and they are great, there are some problems but not big ones. The graphics are really great, some of the best i have ever seen.

dammit just a week to go...
nice footage....whoever filmed the clip with Niko on the motorcycle needs to update that crappy camera...

other than the intro videos its just some guy playing around in a GTA game, nothing too spoilerific in there honestly. And the intro video is...well...the intro...so its not really a spoiler =P

Things I spotted:

-In terms of graphics, they are more than sufficient for a GTA game and they've definitely improved. With that said, I completely disagree with griffin that they are even close to the "best"...unless he has been deprived a look at some of the actual best looking games?
-The driving looks horrible so far, cars are sliding all over hell, that will take some getting used to. Luckily motorcycles don't seem to have changed, or if they have it wasn't readily apparent....so most people will likely continue to use them =)
-The fist fights with pedestrians didn't look that great tbh, maybe the dude playing sucks at it
-New cover system seems to work well and looks solid, although I didn't spot the aiming system in action (wasn't really looking for it)
- Police pursuit is the same as always...aggressive to the extreme...and spawning from thin air. So everything is good here =)
- Voice acting in the intro didn't seem as good as some of the other games but it was still good enough by any gaming standards.
- The protagonist (Nicko) seems to have that same "love him even though he's an evil asshole" quality about him. Which is of course one of the main ingredients to a GTA game =)

Thats all I got for now~

I hate gta games and even im pumped for the new one. Especislly after watcing the second video.

The quality of those videos is too poor to satisfy me. Still cool to see some gameplay though.

Quick question, Does GTAIV have rumble for the PS3?
Because I just read about the GTAIV bundle for europe and it still has the SIXAXIS controller.

That last driving video is awesome. I just love how everything looks more smooth in this game.

I'm going to have some serious fun in a couple of days! :P

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Yes, but the DS3 is not out in Europe yet

for me, those trailers look quite nice, but I am going to wait until I see direct feed stuff from Game trailers. I am really trying to avoid watching too much (which is why I am not watching the opening) so that I don't spoil the initial experince. However, I am happy that the cover system looks good, and the shooing looks quite nice, but the vehicle handling looks a little off, though I am sure it just takes some time to get used to
