Not too much else is coming out that is big this Summer.

We already got a decent amount of big movies this year, especially considering the big media companies are still coming back from Covid, the strike and various other road blocks.

For me I still want to see Trap. I usually enjoy M. Knight and this seems to be a decent one from him. I won't spoil it, although the basic plot is in the trailer.

The only real other movie I guess I am sort of interested in seeing is Beetlejuice 2. But we will have to wait and see what the reviews say. I hope for the best, but I lack faith.

Alien and Beetlejuice are a most for me, given im a huge fan of both IPs. Imma go watch Alien this weekend.

As far as I can see, the reviews are decent for Aliens. Jeremy Jahns seemed to not hate it. Hopefully is good and does well. Enough with the Aliens vs. stuff. Bring us back to what made them great!

I still need to see Deadpool and Wolverine. I haven't been to the movie theater since Avengers Endgame in 2019.

I caught COVID just as that one was coming out, so this weekend will be the first opportunity for me to see it, but it'll probably be next week.

Good picks.

I'm a fairly big fan of the Alien franchise as well... although I still hold a grudge against Alien 3 for undermining Aliens. One of the very very rare sequel grudges I actually have.

But while the fourth film wasn't a cinematic masterpiece, I found it to be loads of fun. The cast was spectacular, and it had a lot of little nods to the first two films, including camera work and shots.

While Prometheus has some ridiculous stuff in it, I found the film overall to be quite enjoyable as well.

I like Alien Resurrection, and can't get why people don't like it.  AR is the funnest Alien movie out there, and had plenty of action.  I liked the prequels as well with Covenant and Prometheus.  But they were different, seemed like these sci-fi movies that had that vast backdrop that wanted you to open your mind up to a bunch of weird stuff that the universe had that we don't know about.  And this newest one looks cool, more like the original Alien with the horror emphasis.  Yes, i think it will be delightfully bloody.  Mabey i'll see a facehugger pulling a severed head or something tacky like that.

Funny enough I got COVID right before it came out as well. I went to a con and ended up getting it. Though, funny enough I wore a mask, while a friend of mine who didn't ended up not getting it.

Just have not been to movies in general much since my kids grew up. Dungeons and Dragons was Awesome, Mission impossible Dead reckoning was really good. The newest Jackass was a huge let down for me, but saw it with my boys.

Had Covid like 5 times now, never more than a fever for 30 minutes. Although the first time lost my smell for 6 months.

Still, I was told I would die as a kid if I got pneumonia anymore. That's what I am scared of getting.

Deadpool 3 I was too hyped for, was just ok for me. When I get too hyped it ruins movies for me. Same thing happened with MI: Fallout years ago. So I try not to get hyped anymore.
