So anyone who called him out was accused of taking things out of context or they're just bad people who see racism everywhere or they're just trying to take him down because of Trump derangement syndrome.

It is the hypocrisy of MAGA or the GOP, if there is a distinction between the two anymore. It's ok to say that Hattian immigrants are eating cats with zero evidence, but any criticism against their cult leaders has to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

I don't think this option was sincerely on the table to begin with. We hear it time and time again that staffers on Trump's campaign make recommendations that are basic common sense, only for them to get ignored because that's not who MAGA is. I am quite sure this is another such instance, so Robinson was always going to stay on board, because conceding to the pressure of liberals etc. would be seen as a loss by MAGA.

Especially because there are not enough bad things he said to fall out of line with the overarching MAGA themes. I've yet to see anything besides his comment on transgender porn where I can confidently say that that is not who MAGA is and stands for. As such, it's more likely that Trump and Vance will rally behind Robinson than abandon him.

Shouldn't be too hard for them. Robinson himself has already blamed AI among other things on this story, portraying himself as a victim. If the story is declared a hoax or a political witch hunt, then there's no self-claimed Nazi anymore.
