Forums - Politics Discussion - 2024 US Presidential Election

Vote for Trump is a vote for letting Russia take over all of Ukraine because that is what will happen after any dumb fuck ideas like letting Russia keep what it has already taken and making them pinkie promise they won't attack again in the future then blocking Ukraine from being able to join defensive alliances like NATO and other allied institutions leaving them all on their own once again, slap that on an ad and show it to all the Ukrainian and Polish-Americans in swing states, a vote for Trump is letting Ukraine be slaughtered and putting Russia in Poland's backyard.

Oh and JD Vance can especially go fuck himself if he's suggesting Ukraine can't join EU. Last I checked, America wasn't in Europe so he can take that suggestion and stick it up his ass, America has no right to tell Europe what it can and can't do, America has no right to tell a European country that it can't join a European organisation. He's a disgrace to America, a traitorous little fuck to America and to its allies.

Funny how damn hypocritical these people are, they claim Ukraine is only fighting Russia because "evil Democrats" are forcing them to, Ukraine is a dumb stupid country that doesn't have a mind of its own, it's being controlled by the big bad Democrats. Then in the same breadth make suggestions about ripping away Ukraine's ability to independently choose what organisation it joins of its own free will and tell Ukraine to give up 20% of its land for "peace" which they would never do if put in the same situation.

Oh and more bollocks about how Europe isn't doing enough and poor old American taxpayers when the vast majority of equipment sent is old equipment rotting away in American warehouses and replacement of said equipment is providing jobs in American states, the vast majority of this "money" stays in America and on his European points, America is ranked #17 as a % of GDP.

Shocking that America, one of the richest countries in the world, is able to send more in pure $ value than most of Europe on an individual basis.

Now compare Europe vs America = 110bn Euros (Europe) vs 75bn Euros (America)...Would you look at that, Europe does send more.

These guys talk so much shit about Europe, Lol. People think they'd be good allies? Give me a break, allies only to fascist dictators.

I've found it difficult to meet one American that says they're having a better time over the last four years verses the prior four. When I interact with them they acknowledge it, sort of pause, then proclaim they're voting for Kalama. When asked what's it based on, there's lots of platitudes and diverting, before finally falling on "Trump's just x." No policy they like or often even know about the candidate chosen for them, no honest fandom for their candidate, no moral reasoning for their candidate. They just hate the other guy.

It's interesting that one person can make such a wide swathe of people go mad. It's certainly something for the sociology majors.

The covid inflation is the biggest reason Trump might have a chance.  The inflation had nothing to do with Biden/Harris but it still happened under them.  Had covid happened two years earlier in 2018, all of the inflation would have have happened under Trumps term.  The problem is, most people saw the inflation under Biden and Republicans lie that it was because of Bidenomics.  Me personally, my salary outpaces inflation, as does my brother and sisters salaries.

Well that's great about your income outpacing inflation.  The rest of your post is quite presumptuous, how do you know that inflation was purely covid related and has nothing to do with the current administration?

Inflation doesn't happen over night, it's a result of years of policies or an event that dramatically shifts supply and demand.

Basically the entire planet saw massive inflation. US's inflation was less than most.

The biggest Democratic policy that is blamed for inflation was the Covid spending, completely ignoring that Republicans pushed two similar spending bills.

So lets see if I got this right: it's covid and only covid then?  And nothing to do with mortgage interest rates, mortgage payments and rent being higher, the Russia-Ukraine war, or profligacy in the treasury?

It's not brought up enough just how downright abysmal they are.  Both sides are horrible with spending.

This has been amazing to watch them go at each others throats. Just over a month or so ago, the Democrat Party was a mess and didn't look united, Republicans were the opposite, now it's the reverse, Lmao.

How fast times flies...Trump almost being assassinated feels like it happened 50 years ago. Only thing I'd say is that, MTG is wrong, it does represent who MAGA are and it does represent Donald Trump but I guess the antisemite can't see the irony in her complaints.

Let them fight.
