Forums - General - What are you doing for St Georges Day?

Well today is St Georges Day, the patriot Saint of England. It's a day overlooked by many of the English. It is one of the reasons I think England is the most unpatriotic country in the world:

  • Irish celebrate St Patricks Day in full force
  • Driving Renaults (France) and Audis (Germany)
  • Eating foreign food
  • Shopping in places like Ikea (Sweden), ASDA (USA)
  • Watching American TV Shows such as Heroes, Simpsons, Friends
Agree with these points, if not voice your opinion.

I'm celebrating down my local boys club. I am full of patriotism despite technically only being half English. I celebrate St. Georges day in full force. I often have a St. Georges cross displayed in my room.

I was going to say wipe my ass with st georges cross, but it would be a lie. I wouldn't let it touch my skin.

^ Say whaaaat Mistershine? I thought you were cool.

Chill!! It was a joke. I'm 'Proper Cornish' so I don't celebrate St georges day, but I don't pro-actively hate it either.
