Ya I;m the same way as in I buy new games, even though I haven't finished or even played some of the games I own. Buying em is almost as fun as playing em sometimes, lol, seriosuly, I was all excited when Battalion Wars 2 came out, bought it on day 1, and haven't played it since. I think the main reason is cuz right now I'm trying to get everything in Smash Bros. Brawl, almsot there though.

This gen I actually spend more time on each game and for the first time find myself tackling the harder difficulty modes, I used to play a game in normal and was done but for example I have cleared every single mode in DMC4 and am in the process of doing the same in Uncharted ( although I am getting my ass kicked pretty badly in crushing mode right now).
If I had a 360 instead of a PS3 this would even be worse as I know I would be an achievement whore ( heck I have 1000/1000 accomplishment in DMC4).

Generally I'm fine at completing games. I don't have the income to keep buying games, and I usually get 1-2 games a month (excluding Christmas, birthdays, etc). And that leaves me enough time to complete them all.

I try to only play one game at a time, and I can do that usually, like SMG, burned through every star somewhat fast.

but most of the time I'll get sidetracked by some old game I haven't played in a while and think "oh hey, that sounds like fun" but, I'm pretty dedicated to my newest games. just a few here and there.

I complete almost every game before buying another. However, If a highly anticipated title comes out and I'm not finished the other one I have, I will buy it, and then play a little, and typically go back and finish the other.For example, I bought Galaxy while I was still playing Fire Emblem:RD. I played a handful of galaxies, and then went back to finish FE:RD.

Out of all the games I have for the Wii, I have beaten all but Mercury Meltdown Revolution.

For the DS, I've beaten all but Mario Vs. Donkey Kong 2 and I'm currently working on Advance Wars: Days of Ruin.

I figure why spend good cash if your not going to play the whole game.

i play multiple games and always go back to older ones

I always do this I have never finished Mass Effect, The Orange Box or Lost Odyssey, then a couple of days ago I bought Bioshock. I hope I beat that before GTA 4 come out.

I do try and beat every game that I get, though I never used to do that.
It is mainly cause I never used to have to pay for my games, but now I want to get the most out of my hard earned cash (/pocket money) and I do feel conscious of not having finished a game that I have, or feeling like I have wasted some money
Currently, I need to finish LGS TCS, Burnout (that does not really count) Star Ocean 3 (will wait until summer so I can really get going on that)
However, all will have to be put on hold while I play GTA IV

I usually play a game until I beat it or I am close to beating it before I start another one/ buy another one.
