Forums - Gaming - Do you complete a game before going on to the next one?

Out of all the games I currently own, I've actually finished.. maybe 15% of them. I tend to impulsively buy stuff when I'm bored, and many times I'll play something a little before I forget about it.

I've tried to just come to accept I'll never finish any of those games and just kinda start with a clean slate or something.. or I could just try to improve my spending habits.. which probably won't happen. :p

No, I still have WipEout both Syphon Filters (though I don't think I'll ever bother finishing the first) to finish, and I just got PES 2008 and I am getting Crisis Core in a few weeks

I play to the end. I rarely get to go home and play my games (I didn't bring my wii to school), so if I'm going to get a game's story in my head, I pretty much have to play and beat it in one trip (a la, spring break, winter break). If I don't beat it in that trip, I usually never beat it since I rarely start games over (and play through) and I lose track of whre I'm at if I try and resume my game.

So completionist baby.

I left only two games unfinished before moving to other, I am talking about games that I purchase, one is the Godfather for Wii, and Lost Planet for 360, I hope I will comeback to those soon...not really

I finish my games most of the time before going on to another.

If there is a time that I have more than one game to finish, then I'll start with one game and finish it and start the next game, but I never really receive more than one game, I usually buy games one time a month on average, and...It hurts me leaving a game unfinished

I play around 5-10 games simultaniously, jumping between games depending on what game I feel like to play.

Stop buying so many games!

Especially since you're the only PS3 owner I know that hasn't bought Uncharted yet!

If you're going to buy any game, it needs to be uncharted.

But yeah, complete one game at a time. You can't really play more than two or three games at a time anyway.

I complete some games before moving on, and lots I don't. They are ones that really keep me interested and I complete fairly quickly. Amazing how much you can do if you dedicate several days to a game. Right now I am playing at least half a dozen games that I will probably complete over several months, not counting probably as many that were purchased in the same time frame that I will not bother playing any more...

I made myself a new years resolution (and have been sticking to it)... I must complete 2 games for every new game I buy. Presents for Birthday/Christmas don't count. Wii fit also doesn't count, as that is not a game.

I give the game a week...if I dont beat it in a week, I play it some more if its still fun :)
