This is the most interesting history in video games I mean, Im playing since the NES and I never thought there is a video game crash, I only know it on the internet I wanna know since I can never believe such thing happened.

I was 8. I had bigger things to worry about. Tiffany Morgan put a booger on my arm.

Im talking about the people that seen it anyway you're 8 at that time Im just two at that time so whats your point.

BTW how come you have more important thing at that time while 20 years later you're here arguing on a fanboy because he insulted your favorite console?

It's called levity. I guess sometimes, my light hearted attitude can be taken the wrong way. I mean you no harm.

And since when do I have a favorite console? I bash/praise them all equally (except the SNES. That console was awesome incarnate).

I knew this thread will fail anyway, I just post this same thread in other forums and it fails. Just wanna know the experience when the crash happens. If no one here said an answer, seem the crash never happens after all. Might aswell delete this thread, or this thread might will disappear never care just wanna know. might aswell post this in another forum then... of course the mods will delete this veventually the thread i mean

There wasn't a crash where i live in, but there also weren't really a videogameconsole market at the time either. C64, Spectrum etc. was what everyone was playing with.
But, i'd guess it feels pretty much the same when the console you own gets discontinued/stops selling and all the stores are getting rid of the games with low prices.

It was horrible. I was like "Oh noes, how did this happen with such great games like Shark Shark and Arkanoid"

Lol, I wasn't around actually, but I have had to listen to my dad tell that when he was my age computer games were real and better and that the crash was just an incident waiting to happen and will happen again... Yeah right.

From what I got, the crash was more like what happens when any major fad fell. People shrugged, and went on with the newest fad. Off course there where some die-hards hell bent on keeping the videogames alive but hey, there are also still people playing the tamagotchi.

We're just lucky the industry got a kick-start that soared
