I think you are very wrong. In NA 360 will get a bigger boost from GTAIV and in Europe PS3 will get a bigger boost. These will more or less cancel out with maybe a little advantage to PS3. Since This week PS3 will outsell 360 by 30K I will predict that PS3 will beat 360 by 50K at most during GTAIV release week.

I would love to see this happen, but sadly I don't think it will. Even with GTA4, MGS4, a Music, Movie/TV download service, Blu-ray, PSN, a web browser, Home, In Game XMB, $299/399 price points, PS2 B/C on all units, and whatever else Sony desides to put in the PS3 this year I doubt it will start outselling the 360 by 100k. Even with all those features at a price that not even a closeout store can match, will people be smart enough or well informed enough to start buying it at those levels. Sony really needs to work with retailers to start showing people that the PS3 can become their new cable bow, that also plays HD Movie, Games, browses the web, plays music, and much, much more. One day PS3 will be understood, and when that day comes no system will be safe, but until then the average consumer will walk into the store and see a wii, 360 and PS3, and think game player 1,2,3. Gameplayer 1 is cheap, and 2, and 3 are crazy expensive for a GAMEPLAYER, Well I will not spend that on a Gameplayer, so 1 it is.

 You have to love the leo-j's (Joel's) sales analysis he does not even include figures and everyone believes every post and thread he types on VGChartz as gospel.

This is entirely possible, included that XBOX360 will have some negative sales.

PS3 will own the 360 in japan and others, its already catching up massively in others and has a lead over the 360 in japan, the only territory left for the PS3 to beat the 360 at is the US, come on americans you know the PS3 is better.

This post probably should not be justified with a reply but having followed the sales speculations here for some time I have to disagree with what you just stated. If anything, the contrary of what you just stated is true.
