Windows, steam and retroarch all installed. Looking good. Just need to grab a gpu to play some modern games.

It was probably stuck in POST in first-time RAM checking. I'd guess ti was properly seated, this stuff is just finicky sometimes.

...I had this 'issue' when I recently built my PC. AMD CPU instead, but it took a while for me to remember that modern PCs apparently can be slow to boot (at least for the first time?).

I would wait to see if the 4070 super (if it comes out) releases at the same mrsp of the original.
Yeah it feels like I should wait. I don't have a backup gpu to use until then. However retroarch is cpu heavy and seems to work fine.
